The IT Security Suite Network is a valuable networking resource providing security governance, guidance and counseling initiatives, filled with great benefits and networking for all members. Our network provides education, training, awareness, sales, services and support for/on the IT Security Threats Landscape whether you’re an end user, consultant, business executive or educator, our network is for everyone and addresses the IT Security issues as we face them today and for tomorrow.

TITSSN was formed with the objectives and concepts of addressing the security concerns and issues faced in our everyday lives at home and in our work places by means of exposure, awareness, training and more in-depth knowledge in the IT security products and services that are available to secure and protect us. The IT professionals need the training, materials, resources and contacts to be able to go out there and spread the word as well as lock down and secure their infrastructure, customers and clients’ networks and PCs.

Our vision

TITSSN is on a mission to have a local chapter in every major US city by 2010 in an effort to elevate, educate and make the general public aware of the real IT Security issues at hand and how to fix and mitigate them. This is a very ambitious initiative that will take time, effort and commitment but we’ve started this mission 3yrs ago and we’re not stopping until we reach our mark.

Our aim.

To bring the vendors who develop the solutions and IT professionals who are doing the actual sales and services, marketing, installations, support and training of these industry standard security hardware and software solutions together, so we all can learn and understand what it takes to get secure and cut down on these attacks and in so doing help to mitigate the extent of the pay loads and cost factors associated with these threats. In bridging the gap between vendors/manufacturers and the IT professionals, we see the growth and development that will help to mitigate and stabilize the IT sector against the threats and attacks we face every day.

We meet each month and address different security topics, issues and concerns in the industry with the vendors and manufacturers, getting first hand updates, training and tools to better prepare us to challenge the risks we face with and for our customers and clients.

We are not addressing one vendor/developer nor manufacturer, IT Security is not a standalone tool, device nor peripheral, it is a system of solutions combined and with that we are addressing information technology security in its entirety with all vendors, developers and manufacturers across all verticals and markets.

This encompasses all vendors, developers and manufacturers whose products and tools are in the security arena. We hope that by building such joint relationships in a security initiative going forward will make the road less stressing and cumbersome so we can have a safer, more secure ride on the information super highway.

Our meetings are free and open to every and anyone who is interested in learning more on and about IT Security so feel free to drop in for some good sessions with valuable content and an awesome network of people. We welcome you to join us in our initiatives towards paving the way for a more secure future for everyone in and affected by the IT Security Threats Landscape and its effect on our infrastructure (people, processes and technology).

IT Security is not an industry problem but a people problem, and as such must be treated that way. TITSSN prides itself as a leader in its public awareness and education programs and its initiatives to work with everyone on these issues.
